UX Consulting Services

Sometimes you do not need someone to make all the screens. You need someone senior to tell you which screens are wrong, where the product is losing people, and what to do about it. That is consulting: judgment and direction, not just production.

Deliverables

What you get

A clear read on what is actually wrong

Not a vague design critique. A specific, evidenced account of where the product loses users, why, and which problems are worth solving first.

Direction your team can act on

Recommendations written for the people who will build them, ranked by impact and effort, so a decision comes out of it, not another meeting.

Senior judgment on demand

A design lead to pressure test a direction, unblock a stuck decision, or review work before it ships, without adding a full-time head to the org chart.

Process

How it works

01

Understand the goal

What the business is trying to move, what the product does today, and where you suspect it is leaking. We start from the outcome, not the interface.

02

Assess and prioritize

I go through the product the way your users do, find the real problems, and rank them by what they are worth against what they cost to fix.

03

Hand over a decision

You get a prioritized direction and, if you want, ongoing reviews as your team builds it out. The goal is momentum, not a report that sits in a drive.

From $5,000

A focused consulting engagement starts at $5,000. Ongoing advisory and review is scoped as a monthly arrangement. No hourly billing.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between UX consulting and a UX audit?

A UX audit is a specific deliverable: a scored report on what loses users in your product. Consulting is broader and often ongoing: direction, pressure testing, reviews, and helping a team decide what to build. An audit is frequently how a consulting relationship starts.

Do you do user research as part of consulting?

I use the research that exists and run lightweight sessions where they will change a decision. I am honest about when a real research effort is warranted versus when the answer is already visible in the product and the analytics.

Can you consult without taking over the design work?

Yes, that is usually the shape of it. Your team keeps building. I provide the senior judgment, the direction, and the reviews, so you get a design lead's input without adding a design lead to headcount.

How hands-on do you get?

As hands-on as the engagement needs. Some clients want pure direction and reviews. Others want me to prototype the hard flow so the intent is unambiguous. Because I build too, I can go from advice to a working example when that is faster.
