UI/UX Design and Development Services
Design and front-end engineering from one person. I diagnose what is broken, design the fix, and ship it as production code.
One person, from the Figma file to the deploy
Most design work dies in the handoff. A designer draws a screen, an engineer reinterprets it, and the hard parts get quietly simplified until the thing that ships is a worse version of the thing that was approved. Every extra person in that chain is another translation, and every translation loses something.
I remove the chain. I design the product in Figma and then build the front end in React and TypeScript, in your codebase. What you approve is what your users get, because the person who drew it is the person who shipped it.
What I am actually good at
Dense, technical products. Dashboards carrying real data volume, admin tools nobody wants to own, workflows a user repeats fifty times a day. This is where most design advice stops being useful, because it was written for landing pages and consumer apps.
The work usually takes one of a few shapes. Sometimes the product exists and loses people at a specific step, and the job is to find out where and fix it. Sometimes the team has engineers but no designer, and the job is to be the designer for a while. Sometimes the UI has drifted into four button styles and three tab components, and the job is a design system that stops the drift.
How engagements usually start
Most start with a UX audit. It is fixed price, takes about a week, and you get a prioritized report, a fix-first backlog, and a walkthrough call. It is a low risk way to find out whether we work well together, and it is useful on its own even if we never speak again.
From there, some teams have me build the fixes. Some bring me in a few days a week as their designer. Some take the report and run with it themselves, which is a completely fine outcome. Nothing here is built to trap you in a retainer.
Who this is not for
If you need a brand identity, a logo, a marketing site full of illustration, or a team of five people, I am the wrong call, and I will say so on the first call rather than take the work. I design product software that people use to get a job done, and I do the front-end engineering that ships it.
Not sure which one fits?
Start with the UX audit. Fixed price, one week, and every other engagement can grow out of it.
